Book Review: Daisy Jones & the Six - 5 Stars

Addiction, Rock N Roll, Love, Loss.....I felt this one in my veins.

Daisy Jones....beautiful, talented, artistic, wild and an addict. This book is written as if it was a very long interview for a documentary, which I loved.

This was an audiobook and I must say, it was amazing. The characters were all narrated by different people, which made it feel like a movie in my head even more so than regular reading.  If any of you out there are addicts from the 80's, Jennifer Beals narrated this as Daisy. And if you don't know who that is...I feel sorry for you. All you millennials who love to cut the neck off your sweatshirts...well you owe that to her.

The story parallels Fleetwood Mac....one of my favorite bands... And please do me a favor and go listen to Silver Springs by them - after you finish the book. I promise you will be scream singing it in your car.

This was such a great story.  The characters, so well defined. It made me feel like I was in the 60's - 70's on the road, living my best life. I also thoroughly enjoy a love story that just almost gets you to those warm and fuzzy feelings but denies you them at the same time. I highly recommend this one as an audiobook.

Please. Read. Now.
