This is book #2 in the Housemaid series. Millie is just trying to lead a normal life. She is done with what she does best.... putting bad men in their place. She is in school, has a handsome lawyer for a boyfriend and a great housemaid job. That is until she gets fired. Luckily she stumbles into a new position for a wealthy couple which pays quite well. This could take care of all of her financial issues. But, of course.... trouble always seems to find her. Should she do what she does best and help a woman in need or stay out of it this time?
I loved this book! I have seen a lot of booktoks and bookstagram posts regarding this book and most say it is NOT as good as the first and not worth reading. I disagree. The first part of the book was slightly predictable. I knew what was coming. But the 2nd part of the book was a little mind blowing. I definitely had a gasp or 2 or 3. This story has some delicious twists and turns and kept me wanting to read more. I am for sure going to read #3 The Housemaid is Watching!
