On the night of the infamous yearly party for the famous Riva siblings, everything seems to go wrong. This is also the night that will change their lives forever. This is a story about a family that struggles to keep it together when the chaos seems to surround them.
This one fell a little flat for me. The story line had potential. I liked the different characters and family dynamics. I enjoyed the flashbacks between the parents' story and the children's story. I actually thought the parents' story was more interesting. I wish Reid had dove a little deeper into that.
The story felt very surface level to me. I needed more from this book. Luckily this was an audiobook. If I had read this the good ole' fashioned way, I have a feeling it would have been hard for me to get through.
